Each suite is decorated individually. Full kitchens, walk-in closets, marble baths, and premium beds. None of them are alike.
Of the seventeen rooms, this is the one with the door to the outside. A private second-floor balcony opens over the breezeway, with two iron chairs and the kind of evening light that makes you forget the time. Inside, a king bed, a generous living area, and a deep garden tub built into the marble bath.
A favorite for week-long stays. The kitchen runs the long wall (gas range, full-size refrigerator, dishwasher) and the living room has room for a sofa, two chairs, and an actual dining table. A second-floor street view keeps the suite full of southern light through the morning. Pull-out sleeper sofa adds a second bed when family visits.
Two queen beds, configured for traveling with a companion or with two children. The full kitchen is a real one (countertop, gas range, dishwasher) and the orientation is street-facing, with windows that frame the brick across the avenue. Quiet during weekday mornings, alive at the front of weekends.
A large king suite, individually decorated, fully ADA-accessible without compromising on warmth. The bath is built around a curbless roll-in shower with a teak bench and grab rails finished in brushed nickel. Lowered counters in the kitchen, lever hardware throughout, and a clear five-foot turning circle in every room.
The largest of the six. Two queen beds and a full sleeper sofa make it the suite of choice for families and small wedding parties; it sleeps six in real comfort. A long kitchen island anchors the room, and the four windows along Carolina Avenue mean the suite is never short on light or street life. Plantation shutters keep the mornings yours.
The closest thing to a Hartsville pied-à-terre. A king bedroom and a separate living and dining area, both individually furnished: antique pieces on cream walls, a modest crystal pendant, plantation shutters that clatter softly when you open them. The walk-in closet is large enough for a long stay; most guests, on a long stay, never want to leave.
